Optometrist
Dr. Josh Trafton was born and raised here in Tallahassee. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida in Cellular and Molecular Biology. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a member of the Northwest Florida Optometric Association, and is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO-BC). He has served as a clinical preceptor to the Illinois College of Optometry and as a consultant to the Florida Board of Optometry.
Dr. Trafton is a past board member of the Children’s Home Society and is a founding director of the Everhart Excellence Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, benefiting the children, faculty, and staff of Gretchen Everhart School.
